Spring Camp 2014 - Jacksonville, FL

Dear Parents,

 

Prachee Arts & Studio is organizing a spring camp from March 17 - March 21 in Jacksonville, FL. The spring camp is open for any kids from age 6 to 14. The camp will include various educational activities like math, science experiments, public speaking, and writing. They will also be able to explore their artistic talents by doing painting, arts, and crafts. Kids will also have fun in the way of movies and popcorn. In the camp kids will learn about a different holiday each day.

Winter Painting Camp 2013 - Prachee Arts & Studios

Spend your time painting with new friends, sharing your thoughts and creating new work.

The painting class is at Southeast library from 1:00 - 3:30 pm on Sunday December 22, 2013. We will be painting Peacock on Canvas. Color, brushes and canvas will be provided to you in class. Just bring apron, pencil and scale with you.  

The classes will be on December 24th from 10:00- 12:30 pm. The Classes will be held on 9551 Baymeadows Place # 18, Jacksonville, FL. We will be painting poinsettia flowers on tray. Supplies are included.

We have morning and afternoon session on December 26th from 9:30– 12:00 pm at 9551 Baymeadows Place # 18, and 1:00 - 3:30pm at Southeast Library. Learn to paint Penguin snow scene. All Supplies are included.

Each session cost $35.  If you sign all the sessions, you will get 5 % discount. 

Registration ends December 20th.

I really enjoyed doing face painting at St Joseph Catholic School and Catty Shack Wildlife Sanctuary, Jacksonville Fl. It was fun and butterfly and tigers were in demand. Kids Painting Class- August 2013

Dear Parents,

Kids Painting class are schedule to start on August 4th, 2013 at Southeast library in between 1:00- 5:00 pm. If your child is 5-6 yr old, classes are for 1 hour each week on Sunday. If your child's age is in between 7-10, classes are for 1:15 mins and if your child's age is 11 and up, classes are 1 1/2 every week on Sunday. Once the registration is complete, we will notify you of class timings per age level. Prices include all the supplies.

August 2-4 is tax free days and so is registration for above class. Since we don't charge tax to you, we decided to give you discount of  $20, if you sign up for kids classes in between August 2- August 4. 

Note: If we don't have enough kids per age level, we will combine the classes but skill levels will remain the same.

Beginner's One Stroke Painting Course

Beginner's One Stroke Painting Course 

One Stroke painting course starting from Saturday, August 3rd - September 7th from 2:00-3:30 pm at Mandarin HobbyLobby. The classes will be held every Saturday. You will need Folk Art Paints and One Stroke Brushes by Donna Dewberry available in Micheal's Arts & Craft stores. Following are the colors need to complete a projects:-
Thicket, Soft apple, yellow light, yellow ochre, wicker white, School bus yellow, Engine Red, Raw Sienna, Burnt Umber, Midnight, Violet Pansy and ultramarine blue.
Floating Medium
11" x 14" canvas (4-5), and sponges. You will learn the following subjects:-
Ivy and One stroke leaves
Tear drop stroke for Hydrangeas
One Stroke signature Cabbage Roses
Variety of fruits (C Stroke, U stroke)

Adult Painting Class Summer 2013

Dear Friends,

Adults painting class will begin from July 20, 2013 from 2:00-3:30 pm at Mandarin Hobby Lobby (on Old St. Augustine Rd). Registration starts from June 15, 2013. Classes are once every week for 6 weeks for $135.

Please see the projects below:-

Tropical Sunset

You will need 16" x 20" canvas, folk art colors like yellow light, engine red, thicket, light green, ultramarine blue, wicker white, licorice, raw sienna, burnt umber. One Stroke brushes and sponge.




Bird of Song Painting

You will need 16" x 20" canvas, folk art colors like grass green, thicket, sunflower, wicker white, light green, raw sienna, burnt umber, berry wine, medium yellow. One stroke 1" flat brush and other regular one stroke brushes.






Sunflower and Pansies

You will need 11" x 14" canvas, folk art colors like grass green, thicket,sunflower, wicker white, light green, raw sienna, burnt umber, berry wine, medium yellow. One stroke 1" flat brush and other regular one stroke brushes.
