Rajasthani Painting
Dear Friends,
I was born in Rajasthani and always wanted to paint Rajasthani paintings. A little introduction about Rajasthani Paintings - Rajput paintings also known as Rajasthani paintings, is a style of Indian painting, evolved and flourished during the 18th century in the royal courts of Rajputana, India. Rajput paintings depict a number of themes, events of epics like the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, Krishna’s life, beautiful landscapes, and humans. Many paintings were done on the walls of palaces, inner chambers of the forts, and  havelis.

This is one of my favorite painting. I found this beautiful picture on the internet and re-created this painting on 18" x 24" canvas using acrylics as my medium. I am a self taught artist and by painting this i learned many shades and techniques. I will be painting more paintings like these in near future.

I am sharing the picture frame made by my dad. This is an 24" x 24" wooden frame painted with acrylics. The 3D heart, lotus and cupid effect is crafted using XPS insulation (thermal sheet) and decorated with colors and glitters. He handcrafted each and every single element of this frame including cutting of the ply wood.
