Adult Painting Classes

Dear Friends,

Adults painting class will begin from March 9th, 2013 from 2:00-3:30pm at Mandarin Hobby Lobby (on Old St. Augustine Rd)  and San Jose Library. Registration starts from February 1st, 2013. You receive 10 % discount if you register before February 18th 2013. Classes are once every week for 6 weeks for $125.

Please see the projects below:-

Tropical Sunset

You will need 16" x 20" canvas, folk art colors like yellow light, engine red, thicket, light green, ultramarine blue, wicker white, licorice, raw sienna, burnt umber. One Stroke brushes and sponge.




Bird of Song Painting

You will need 16" x 20" canvas, folk art colors like grass green, thicket, sunflower, wicker white, light green, raw sienna, burnt umber, berry wine, medium yellow. One stroke 1" flat brush and other regular one stroke brushes.





Poppies Bouquet

This is my lovely poppies painting (resource: Donna books). you will need violet pansy and all the above colors mentioned. We will do this on 11" x 14" canvas.

Dear Parents,

I am receiving many emails inquiry about kids classes.  The first painting project common for all the class levels is my abstract painting. This is easy but very interesting painting.  you will need to bring 11 x 14" canvas, painter's tape, and apron.

The other project for older kids will be strictly one stroke 'Tiger Lily.' The picture isn't that clear because of the glare. This will be on 8 x 10" canvas. Folk Art colors used here is yellow light, berry wine, yellow citron, thicket and black. I will be providing you with brushes.

My another project is beautiful fish under water. This we can do on glass or charger plate.We will use Folk Art Enamels colors and brushes. (Resource: Internet)

Dear Parents,

Pracheearts is conducting an open house on January 5th at southeast library in room E from 2:00-4:00 pm. Parents along with their kids can come and see different projects that we will be doing in our  future classes. I will also have information about Rajasthani painting classes.

Winter Kids and Adult Painting Classes will start on January 19th and 20th. I will be signing up all the students and collecting class fees.

Dear Friends,

Pracheearts has successfully completed summer session of kids painting classes age 6+. We are blessed to get such great students. They are sincere and hard working. Some of them had painted with acrylics for the first time and were very proud of the final results. You have to look at the smile on their parent's face when they see results of their kid's efforts. It brings a lot of satisfaction and makes our day.

In the 6 week course we have completed three projects. One of the project was SNOWMAN on 8"x 10" canvas using acrylics as our primary medium.

Brenda Jones Projects

Hi Friends,

I will like to share one of my student's work. Brenda Jones, completed "basic one stroke course" with me in fall 2011. She was very hard working and always practiced her projects before and after the class. It was fun exchanging painting facts during the class with her. What's really impressive is, she is still practicing her painting and creating new projects for decorating her house. Please see below her two paintings:-
The black and white tree are the ones her daughter used in her granddaughters room and wishing tree in her guest room.

Kids One Stroke Classes Winter 2012

Hello Friends,

Prachee Arts & Studios launched first "Kids One Stroke Class program" in Winter 2012 (age 10+) in Jacksonville, FL. With the successful completion of this program by Neha and Urvi, we are proud to say that they are our first "One Strokers" in kids program. We congratulate them and appreciate their hard work toward learning and completing their projects. The projects included Birdhouse Garden, Daisies on glass, Grapes frame on canvas. Please see the pictures below from the class.

The next summer session is in Chicago, IL starting from July 2012 at various locations. There will be total of 6 classes (Age 10+). There are more painting classes for kids ages 7-10. Please visit my website for details or email me if you like to sign up your kids for the classes.
